The objective of this activity was to provide technical assistance and identify the diagnosis of diseases in the cattle herds of the Shicuy Community.
Through articulated, participatory and sustained work between the Peasant Community of Shicuy and the Sierra Sumaq Rumi Mining Company (Poli), an ANIMAL HEALTH campaign was carried out in the area of PISHUPAMPA with the aim of providing technical assistance and determining the diagnosis of diseases in cattle herds in the Community.
During the technical field visit, the aim is to consolidate the articulation of efforts between SENASA and the Communal Farm, which has sheep, lambs and male Junín breeders, having great potential with its sheep, which represents the main source of income of families in Shicuy and the area. Given this activity, the community directors expressed their gratitude for the joint efforts and reaffirmed their willingness to continue working together for the implementation of initiatives that promote sustainable development in favor of community families.
