This seeks to promote the development of local business initiatives through support at the level of management, training, planning, technological promotion and economic co-financing so that they are sustainable.
With a view to sustainable local development based on the potential of the area, Sierra Antapite and the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation, through the AGROIDEAS program, signed a INTERINSTITUTIONAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT, with the aim of promoting and fostering the development of the productive capacity of local agricultural activity in the districts of Ocoyo, Córdova and Laramarca, in the province of Huaytará, for the benefit of small and medium producers in the area Y, of course, the local families.
This agreement seeks to improve competitiveness levels through the development and execution of business plans in the area, based on which the promotion of productive associations will be sought, as well as the acquisition of machinery and technology applied to production at through a joint co-financing – non-reimbursable -, between the producers, AGROIDEAS and the private company, that is, Sierra Antapite. All this as long as the business plan is considered viable and sustainable. It is important to know that AGROIDEAS, through this mechanism, has supported more than 63 thousand small and medium-sized farmers throughout Peru, giving them the opportunity to improve their productive capacities, through the co-financing of Business Plans and Productive Reconversion Projects, undoubtedly a very important opportunity for Ocoyo, Córdova and Laramarca, in which Sierra Antapite shows all its commitment.
