The recognition was from the Decentralized Unit for the Protection of the Environment of the PNP Junín, being the only mining company that obtained this distinction.
On the occasion of the celebrations for the 47th anniversary of the creation of the Decentralized Environmental Protection Unit of the PNP Junín, the Social Management team of the Sumaq Rumi Mining Unit (Poli) was recognized for its valuable social contribution during the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID 19 that we have been facing, along with other organizations in the public and private sector, being the only company in the mining sector to receive this distinction.
At the same time, this event made it possible to ratify our company's commitment to work together and in coordination to care for the environment, working responsibly for the development of the entire region.
