Sierra Antapite, in a strategic alliance between the Huancavelica Regional Directorate of Agriculture and the Huaytará Agrarian Agency, signed a Cooperation Agreement called Strengthening of technical-productive capacities in livestock development through artificial insemination and improvement of forage areas, to increase milk production in the communities of Cordova, Ocoyo, Ocobamba, Arenales, Laramarca, Ayamarca, among others in the province of Huaytara Huancavelica region.
This agreement will strengthen the livestock project that we have been carrying out in the area, as well as related activities, in the same way that it seeks to finance productive and agricultural development initiatives in the communities of the Huaytará province. The main objective of the agreement is to achieve genetic improvement in cattle of local producers, through artificial insemination, as well as the construction and equipping of a dairy processing plant that will benefit the communities of Ocobamba and Ayamarca.
“We have a strong commitment to contribute to the well-being and strengthening of the surrounding communities where we operate. The agreement will prioritize investments in the productive and agricultural sector to execute projects that are sustainable”, said Julio Sulca, Superintendent of Sustainability and Social Innovation of Sierra Antapite.
The signing of the agreement, which took place at the facilities of the Regional Directorate of Agriculture, was attended by Eng. Raúl Juan Rodriguez Paredes, regional director, Eng. Roberto Rojas Torres, Director of the Agrarian Agency, Digmar López, Corporate Head of Sustainability and Sierra Antapite Social Innovation.
