The delivery was made in the Communities of Ocobamba, Ayamarca and Arenales as well as in the districts of Ocoyo and Córdova, including the pre-school, primary and secondary levels.
More than 300 school packs were distributed in total before the start of face-to-face classes in the area
The Sierra Antapite team, working hand in hand with the Communities of Ocobamba, Ayamarca and Arenales, as well as the districts of Córdova and Ocoyo, together with the representatives of APAFAS, directors of Educational Institutions and parents, the delivery of more than 300 packs of school supplies. This delivery of supplies included students living in Ica from the Community of Ocobamba.
This articulated work was developed for the benefit of minors in the initial, primary and secondary levels, allowing students in vulnerable situations to access a set of educational materials, alleviating the economy of families, since the beginning of the school year becomes in a stage of concern and spending within households. In the same way, this activity allows young people to be motivated to continue their studies, now in person, overcoming the complex circumstances that we have been facing. The local authorities, the school community, the students and their families valued this joint effort for the benefit of the education of children and youth, who will be the future of this region and of Peru.
